Certificates

The Institut für Fassaden- und Befestigungstechnik IFBT is an accredited testing, monitoring and certification body according to German state building regulations (SAC 21) and a "Notified Body" (NB 1109) under the terms of Regulation No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the European Council of 9 March 2011 to lay down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products.

As an accredited testing laboratory, IFBT determines the basis for the assessment of the performance of façade and fixing products in accordance with the criteria laid down in the harmonised standards and European Assessment Documents (EAD). In the course of external monitoring, IFBT acts as a certification body monitoring the consistency of performance of building products.
